Pool Deck Installation & Resurfacing in Alamo & Danville, CA

Pool Decks for Homes in Alamo and Danville, CA

Aqua Dream Pools builds and renovates pool decks for homes in Alamo, Danville, and nearby East Bay towns in California. The pool deck is the area around the perimeter of your pool. It carries most of the foot traffic and sets the look of the whole yard. Builders treat deck work two ways: inside a new pool build, or as a renovation of an existing deck. Call us at (+1) 925-584-2112 and we will walk you through both options.

What Our Pool Deck Work Covers

New deck construction. Our construction process includes a dedicated pool decking stage, after the Gunite shell and before plaster. You choose the surface, and the crew builds the deck as part of the overall swimming pool construction project.

Surface options. Our construction page lists the surfaces available for pool decking. Choices include custom stone, broomed concrete, salt finish, exposed aggregate, brick, pavers, and stamped concrete. Our crews pour and finish them all during the decking stage.

Coping and tile. The deck meets the waterline at the coping. We install coping cut from natural stone, flagstone, brick, cement, and other materials. Tile selections come in natural stone, slate, ceramic, and mosaic.

Deck renovation. On pool remodel projects, we offer deck or patio renovation. That means updating the surface, expanding the deck, or adding seating areas, fire pits, or outdoor kitchens.

Resurfacing an Existing Pool

“Resurfacing” covers two different jobs on our side. The first is interior pool resurfacing. A remodel applies a new finish to the interior of the pool to address cracks, stains, or rough texture. The second is work on the deck itself. For decks, the path is a deck or patio renovation that adds new surface materials to the existing perimeter. If your surface is worn or dated, either job can refresh the space without building a new pool.

See the Finished Deck Before Construction

Every client receives a custom pool design before we begin construction. Our designers produce 3D CAD renderings that show the pool, the deck, landscaping, and water features together in your yard. You can revise the deck layout, surface, and features during this phase. Then you approve the design before any ground is broken. See our swimming pool design service for details.
